Responsible AI and Synthetic Media Policy

Effective date: 23 July 2026

1. Principles

Users remain responsible for review, clearance, disclosure and use. Digital replicas, voices, likenesses and sensitive depictions require valid authority. Disclose material AI use when law, provider rules or context requires it; preserve mandatory provenance; do not use AI to scale deception or unlawful conduct; and retain material permissions, provider/model and generation-date records for commercial use.

2. Labelling

Use a clear label such as "AI-generated", "AI-assisted" or "synthetically altered" when a reasonable person could mistake the content for authentic media and that mistake could affect reputation, financial decisions, public trust or safety. Creative Lab or a provider may apply a label automatically.

3. Digital replicas and voices

A digital replica includes a realistic synthetic or materially altered representation of a person's face, body, voice, mannerism or performance. Users must have documented consent appropriate to the intended content, territory, duration and commercial use.

Do not clone a voice from an unauthorised recording, create a sexual or humiliating replica, or falsely suggest endorsement, authorship or participation. Public availability is not permission.

4. Public figures and news

Satire, commentary and artistic expression may be lawful, but deceptive public-interest media likely to cause harm is prohibited. Use fictional framing and prominent disclosure where a realistic depiction could be misunderstood.

5. Style and brand imitation

Do not request or distribute content designed to confuse audiences into believing that a living artist, studio, creator or brand produced or endorsed it. General genre, period, mood and technique references are safer than deceptive attribution.

6. Bias, accuracy and provenance

Review outputs for bias, harmful associations and factual error. For commercial distribution, retain permissions, provider/model, generation date and key human edits; preserve mandatory provenance and make accurate AI-assistance and rights declarations to Oryyn.
